Controller for Psychiatry, Rehabilitation and Diagnostics

The Role of Controller

In the role of Controller, you play a key function in supporting the operations regarding economic management, as well as monitoring productivity, accessibility, and response times. Your base is in Jönköping, but since the operations are spread across the entire county, travel is part of the job. You will provide qualified support to the management of the radiology department, actively contributing to strengthening economic control, developing operations, and creating sustainable decision-making foundations. The work includes, among other things, budgeting and forecasting, monitoring, analysis, and costing, as well as improvement and change work within economics, control, and operational development.

The role is characterized by close collaboration with the operations, combining analysis, advisory services, and a good understanding of the business. You act as a link between economics, strategy, and the operational day-to-day. This is a role that goes beyond numbers and systems – here, you have the opportunity to use your economic expertise to make a real difference and contribute to even better and more sustainable healthcare.

The position is a one-year fixed-term contract.

Your Future Workplace

Psychiatry, Rehabilitation, and Diagnostics is one of three medical areas with operations at the county's three hospitals and numerous health centers. The operation consists of approximately 2,000 employees and includes four psychiatric clinics, the rehabilitation medicine clinic, the rehabilitation center, the habilitation center, radiology, laboratory medicine, and clinical physiology.

You will become part of a team consisting of four additional Controllers and the Head of Finance. We are located on Batterigatan in the asecs area in Jönköping. Here, you will become part of a welcoming work group that values having fun together.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who have a university degree in economics. We view it positively if you have:

• Experience from similar roles
• Experience from the economic system Raindance
• Good knowledge of the Office package
• Interest in healthcare statistics and production or improvement work
• Category B driver's license as travel within the county occurs
